What do you love in life?  What makes your heart sing, what causes you the greatest joy?  When you think  about it, what you love most is probably not material objects, but friends, family, the little things in life.  Sometimes we get so focused on the big things, the goals of owning the dream house, the luxury car, going on the next adventure, we let the little things that really give us joy on a day to day basis slide.

I love the quick laughter of my daughter, having fun with my husband and cuddling with my little dog, Eli.  Like the MasterCard’s commercial, those non-materialistic things are priceless.  In living a life that you love,  keep your focus on your priorities as you work for the other  goals and  you will find much more happiness and inner success.

If you are working in a job where you are not happy all day long,  why you are doing it?   Are you struggling to pay the mortgage on your “dream home”, but so stressed out you can not enjoy life now?    If this is the case, it is time for something to change, and that something is you!  Begin to look for a job or career that you love.  You spend such a large portion of this time on earth “working”, you should  be doing something that gives you joy.  Do not spend another minute watching the clock, waiting for 5 pm to roll around so you can have some fun.   Don’t spend all year planning a one week vacation when you actually get live the life you love.  Every day should be fun and fantastic, you are meant to have an amazing life, make it happen!

When you change your mindset and know that there is something better out there for you, it is so much easier to deal with your current situation.   Do the best job you possibly can in your present position, knowing that there is something much better out there for you.  You can smile inside at whatever difficulties you face because you know that your life is meant to be exciting, adventurous, amazing!

Imagine your life exactly how you want it to be, visualize it using all of your senses.  Picture yourself doing your dream job, wearing the clothes you would wear,  smelling your surroundings, tasting the sweetness of your success.  You can be, do and have anything you want in life, you just have to believe in yourself, make a plan and take action to make it happen.  Live the life you love, start now by loving  and enjoying all the great gifts you already have.  Build on those treasures and  live your dream life!
